Election Campaign

Thank you for volunteering to help the Women’s Equality Party win in Congleton! We have two candidates for the 2023 local elections, Cllr Kay Wesley and Susan Mead. There are lots of ways you can help, canvassing, leafleting your local area, standing in the town centre on a stall, or phoning voters, there’s a role for everyone.

Canvassing – also known as door knocking – is a vital part of the campaign. Don’t worry if you haven’t done it before; some people get nervous but then are surprised at what fun it is. Residents are usually happy to talk to us. We will offer training and you will be supported at every step. We always go out in pairs and if you prefer, you can be the ‘note-taker’ at first, rather than the speaker.

Please sign up for everything you can do using the form below. Thank you!

‘**’ denotes a Big Canvass Weekend when we hope to get activists from around the country to join us.

Thank you for all your support. WE will be in touch soon with arrangements for the action(s) you have signed up for.

WE will hold your data in order to contact you about volunteering for the Women’s Equality Party, according to our Privacy Policy.
